IT Administrator

The IT Administrator is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security systems. Additionally, the IT Administrator will be responsible for overseeing other operational tasks, including managing internet and electricity services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage all hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including diagnosing problems and recommending solutions.
  • Install and configure software and hardware systems, including operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance and security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and network diagrams.
  • Manage and administer user accounts and access control systems, including password policies and permissions.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry, and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.
  • Responsible for managing and resolving any issues related to electricity and internet connectivity in a timely manner.
  • In addition to IT responsibilities, the IT Administrator will also be responsible for overseeing other operational tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the organization

Requirements and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 
  • 3-6 years of experience in IT administration or related field. 
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems. 
  • Familiarity with network
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft 365. 
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the assigned tasks.
