Our Solution
IAMOPS has created new accounts for network scalability, high security and cost-efficiency.
We implemented a multi-VPC infrastructure to secure the core rules: IIS, SQL, ADMIN, VPN. In addition, we implemented a very strict Windows policy to meet Mobideo’s customers’ security requirement.
Mobideo now uses a scalable infrastructure for a management software that optimizes the complex work process in the gas and oil industry.
- All infrastructure runs on Windows workloads
- AWS domain services and auto login to the domain
- EC2 with Systems Manager integration provides increased control over the environment from a patching perspective as well as increased audit capabilities
- In order to be cost effective we have created a reliable spread of reserved instances and on-demand instances.
- We integrated larger servers in the Amazon EC2 and aggregated multiple customers on the same platform to increase the available overhead during high load times for certain events.
Mobideo initially considered Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host its ISO 27001 compliant environment. Through the shared responsibility model, AWS made it easier for them to achieve THE ISO 27001 compliance by reducing their responsibility to meet requirements associated with infrastructure security.
Mobideo uses Amazon Route 53 to provide domain name services and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) to store static assets.
IAMOPS highly emphasized SecDevOps best practices during implementation, following the company’s enterprise risk and security (ERS) protocols.

Go with AWS: Customer was not aware of most AWS solutions, however, when they realized how easy it is to write a Lambda function and create a DNS backup, they want to do everything the AWS way. They are already planning to migrate their database to RDS.
